The property was exquisitely decorated in a subtle Venetian manner. The location was absolutely perfect. Not to mention the owners care and warmness. Her and her family accommodated in such a nice way, as we were tired from our travels. They set us up with places to eat, taxi and our check in. It was absolutely perfect and so friendly. It felt like a modern day bed and breakfast with the charm of traditional style. Accommodation was clean and so very comfortable.

The residence is spotless and has the best AC we had in our trip. The staff (both Christina's and another lady who's name I can't remember) were so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with so much joy and gave great advice, including for a memorable dinner at Casa Cappellari (not to be missed!). Value for the stay was great in a city of overpriced hotels and generally not such friendly hosts (understandably, tired of seeing tourists). This residence is perfect for exploring Venice, great location! Hope to be back soon!

Close to the action but in a quite spot. Easy access to the water bus, and restaurants. The room was big and bright, and the staff were lovely too.

This was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Venice. Since we were only in Venice for 2 days, location was a MUST for us. Residenza San Silvestro was so easy to get to from the train station, via the Vaporetto and a quick 3 minute walk. We were able to easily walk to the Rialto Bridge, Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo & St. Mark's Basilica. Our host was very communicative and provided many recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. Finding accommodations to fit 3 people (myself and 18 & 22 year old children) in 1 room was important and this location exceeded my expectations. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Venice!

Comfortable room with air conditioning. Short walk to the Rialto bridge and close to water taxi station. Exceptional host and good communication.
