I like the place that we stayed in (Sylvie house ) it's only 20 mins bus ride from amalfi , it's budget friendly . The hosts were great. Gerry has a pub house and food is amazing , very tasty and the chef is his wife . We had a great time. Gerry is very welcoming and he helps with all our needs such as tours, transportation, etc. Silvy house provided not only a comfortable, clean, spacious stay, but also provided an amazing balcony view overlooking the town.

We stayed for a week in April, and it was wonderful! The apartment is perfect, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, and Gerry is the perfect host! Pogerela is a great village high above Amalfi. We had all of the Amalfi coast during the day, but returned to the quiet of a small town at night. The bus running to and from town was terrific. We would definitely stay here again. All-in-all, amazing in Amalfi.

The location was amazing and Gerry was so helpful! We absolutely loved it!

Great location with a free carpark very near and the ability to walk to Amalfi and Rovello if you don't mind lots of steps as well as a not particularly crowded drive to the stunning "Path of the Gods."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the delightful Silva House in the mountain village of Pogerola, outside Amalfi, and would recommend it. The apartment was really lovely, spacious and very well equipped (although a bread knife would also be helpful), and the views were stunning. The key collection arrangements, local advice and input from the hosts were excellent, check-in being flexibly set up (we arrived in a brief but heavy rainstorm!) with great help about the 20' bus ride to and fro Amalfi (definitely the way to get there!). Nearby free village parking was fine, and there were several small shops in the village for most catering needs. Minor needs were promptly addressed. We really appreciated being welcomed, albeit briefly, into this community.
