Breakfast was alright it was usually the same selection every morning with a variety of pastries, yogurt, eggs, sausage and some light veggies and then you could order coffee from the waiters behind the bar which was great. Dinner was great at the resort and very speedy delivery Since the resort is a bit away from the city of Salerno you do have to travel in either by taxi or bus which concerige was very helpful with and prices were reasonable to get into the city and to the port to catch a ferry to amalfi. I think it was a good spot to be away from the busy city and have some peace and quiet with a private beach access. We did use the Marina Beach on our last day and it was perfect, the water was great and the restaurant on that beach had some amazing food! Highly recommend trying the spaghetti with clams

Even though a room with a balcony could not be guaranteed at the time of booking, the St Joseph did give us one overlooking a beautiful beach. The staff was very helpful, particularly the restaurant staff. Comfortable room for very good value.
