Very peaceful place, no need of earpluggs. Everything you needed, even coffeemachine. Fabio advised me to taste local food and gave me even 2 coupons for free glass of wine.
If you come from Varenna consider to byu your ferryticket beforehand by internet. I heard, sometimes there are long lines. Luckily not this time.
In may Menaggio seems to be very tranquil, not many turisties. Though the weather was cold and little bit rainy in my week.
The host Fabio was very sweet and helpful. He speaks English fluently.
