Hosts were exceptionally warm, welcoming, helpful. Property was absolutely gorgeous, with lots of little interesting history and points of interest. We enjoyed a guided tour of the surroundings with the licensed tour guide in the family, as well as great recommendations of a nearby winery tour.

wow! There were so many things we enjoyed at Villa Santa Chiara! First, we were greeted by the proprietor, Mario. He welcomed us, directed us to parking convenient for transferring our luggage and gave us a tour of the grounds and described some of the area attractions and dining options. A fine welcome. The property is very nicely maintained and there are convenient and shaded seating options outside, perfect for a glass of wine and discussions about things to do in Siena. We very much enjoyed the convenience of a short walk up to Porta Romana to historic Siena for dining and sightseeing. We had eight days to relax and appreciate the pleasures of Siena and Tuscany. The property is in fantastic location and in excellent conditions. The hosts are super friendly and the views are outstanding. Would definitely go back!!

This property is truly magical. You enter through a beautiful locked gate and tree lined driveway. The grounds are so beautiful and so well maintained. As soon as we arrived, we wished we were staying longer than 3 days. The pool has a magnificent view and the center of Siena is just a quick walk. Anna and Mario really went out of their way to help us with everything. My husband had left his sunglasses in our car rental, and Mario was so nice to go and pick them up for us as we had already left Siena. I would highly recommend taking a tour of Siena with Anna's daughter, Claudia. She is so passionate about Siena and it's history and traditions that still remain. I highly recommend Villa Santa Chiara, and we will definitely stay there again and again when we are in Siena.

We loved our time at Villa Santa Chiara! Anna, Mario, and Claudia were wonderful hosts. It’s a perfect location to walk to Siena and explore all of Tuscany. Beautiful grounds, views, and accommodations!
