Our stay at Hanchey was unplanned but very nice. The rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The bathroom shower drained a bit weirdly (the whole bathroom floor flooded), but that was a minor issue. The staff were very nice. The restaurant served very tasty and reasonably priced food. The location is on a hill that overlooks a town and it receives a very nice breeze. We did not take advantage of the yoga classes, but those are offered there as well.
The stay was nice with a good environment and view of the river. The price of the food was reasonable. The room was spacious and good facilities.
We loved the isolation, peace and tranquillity of this Resort. Make no mistake this is not your usual high end aircondition resort. The resort is not aircoditioned except for the yoga hall and the double bungalows and facilities are quite basic but this is part of the charm of the place. The staff are super helpful and the food was excellent. The pool was a great place to cool off as it was still hot and humid.
