The location is perfect, right on Dutch lake. They have their own little dock and motel is right beside the public sandy beach and bigger dock. We rented kayaks and went all the way around the lake. The lake is really warm and clean. The rooms were cozy and it was nice to have the kitchen. Grocery store and a few restaurants are also only a few minutes away.
Short drive into Wells Grey park. About 45 mins from the Helmcken waterfall which was well worth the drive. Lots of smaller waterfalls and hikes closer.
