Absolutely earns its high score. I stayed for 3 nights in June. A beautiful house, mostly open air-mindblowing terrace with a view of the city-delicious included breakfast, really good coffee-and best of all you get the sense that the host really loves to host people, even foreigners. Olga reminds me of my host mom when I studied abroad in Ecuador 20 years ago. She will either speak English with you or put up with your broken Spanish-you decide. There were some comments about noise-I was staying in the room next to the street, and it was a festival weekend so there were parties happening every night in the park across the street-my earplugs took care of that noise. You’re in Colombia, just bring earplugs :) I myself noticed zero noise from inside the house. Also, there is a very sweet 4 year old dog that lives for pets. Just book it

nice breakfats. good terrace with view of city. sits right next to the park which has nice walking areas, views of Cali, and it is easy to walk to some sites in the area (the printshop is really cool). Walked to downtown from house. safe. Food places all around.

This is an exceptional experience and my only choice if visiting Cali. It's a cut above other hotels. Tremendous value for what it offers. You meet interesting people and you won't want to leave.

Excellent location, beside a park, within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and all facilities in the bathroom worked well. Beautiful common patio overlooking Cali. Custom breakfast made daily served at a communal breakfast table, where interesting conversations with other travellers is enjoyable.

People were very friendly and the location was perfect to explore.
