Some places get an 11/10. This is an authentic Costa Rica experience, away from the mass tourism of La Fortuna but also close enough to get there in a few minutes (by car) or even walk. The cabin is spotless, cold AC, warm water and good WiFi. Carlos and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts. You're staying in a working farm, so you can milk cows (and drink fresh milk) and see some wild animals up close, including sloth, monkey and toucans. As others mention the hummingbirds like to congregate in the garden. There is a little country store nearby with a few essentials, and the community is real and safe. Nice country walks.

Great little cabin away from it all. I really enjoyed the patio and the quiet mornings.

Spotless, peaceful and with all you need to feel like at home. We used the fantastic porch most of the time. Colibris visit the beautiful garden during the mornings. The studio has everything you need, some of those details that makes you feel at home, the owners were really thoughtful! About them, they were very friendly, easy check-in and even we had the chance to visit their small farm. We will be back for sure!!! :)

Lovely place 15min ride from la fortuna. We loved being amongst all the animals, close to the nature. We ended up extending our stay one night.
