The grounds were really quaint and nicely done up to support social interaction. Lights in the trees and little areas for gathering around as well as a hammock and bistro table for each unit. The animals added to the charm and reminded us of home.
Very friendly hosts. Accommodations were easy to find and room was as described. Cute relaxing area with lots of different outdoor seating options
This was a cool, colorful hotel, with lots of interesting paintings of Greek mythology on the walls, and a beautiful tree in the courtyard. Kitchen well equiped and clean. We stayed here one night to break up the long drive from Tamarindo to San Jose. It was a great option for the night.
Sonia was delightful. She was very helpful and just a really nice person to talk to. Bagaces is a humble town. It is not pretentious or aimed at tourists specifically.
They do not serve breakfast at the Lodge, nevertheless they have a well-equipped kitchen in case you want to prepare your own.
