Beautiful location- all of my friends want to visit this destination now

This was a really great hotel. The location is terrific. Right on the beach. Just the right amount of rustic versus luxury. Food was amazing. Staff was amazing. The only thing that is worth pointing out is that it is very secluded. You must take a water taxi to access it. This can be a really good thing if you're looking for a very quiet place to go, but it's not great if you want to explore the area. Not a bad thing. Just something worth pointing out.

So much to like! Amazing secluded location on a lovely little bay with calm waters and a possibility to see bioluminescence at night plus a million stars. Super peaceful, tranquil nights. Check in was smooth and friendly and staff were always ready to help. Tent/bungalow was comfortable and quiet at night, comfy beach chairs in shadr or sun, attractive & clean outdoor restaurant. Vibe is more 'beachy boho casual' than 'upscale luxury'

Great during weekdays, when there are less people on the beach. Food is tasty. Free paddleboards, kayaks, beach towels, beach beds and beach games. Nice shower.

Los Vivos is one of the most beautiful places we've stayed in all of Costa Rica, truly a magical and special place, beach was gorgeous, staff were delightful, a unique experience.
