This is the nicest hotel I have ever been to. The staff is very helpful and attentive, all of the numerous breakfast options are delicious, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. With its pool and its relaxed atmosphere, it is a true oasis of peace and tranquility in a sometimes noisy and bustling city. Our whole family has thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks a lot again for the help with the train tickets, the good advice concerning restaurants and everything else.

This was the third time we have stayed here - although we last came 11 years ago with a toddler. This time we returned with two boys - who loved the pool, breakfast and afternoon tea each afternoon. Service is attentive and thoughtful - for example, we are vegetarian and we were provided with a list of veggie friendly restaurants.

The historical features were lovely, the rooms were modern and well appointed, lots of little extras like nice shampoo and conditioner, daily traditional biscuits and little notes. Breakfast was lovely and the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes! Very helpful and friendly staff!
