Samudra is located on a more quiet side of Perhentian Besar, though it may not have as many facilities as some other beaches it does have the serene and idyllic feeling where you don't have to deal with large crowds. Their rooms are affordable and the value to price ratio is good if you are looking for a cheaper and practical stay. The staff is very friendly and the food is also good.

Quiet beachfront property with white powdered sand. Excellent place to be for a laid back beach holiday. The place is kept very clean, (even the beach area).. therefore almost mosquito free! The staffs were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Good value for money and highly recommend.

a really great stay. we’d been on the other island and staying on Long Beach and we were so happy when we moved over here because we paid a similar price for a MUCH nicer place and we liked how quiet this island was, especially in the off season. the room was clean, the bathroom was nice. we weren’t in a chalet but the block of rooms, everything is so close to the beach though.

the beach was nice and quiet. we had a sea view bungalow so we were right on the beach. The food at the restaurant was reasonable and good. the staff are very nice.

nice location if you want to stay away from the crowd. super friendly staff
