The location and the apartment itself were fantastic. very good value. Free wi-fi, clear arrival directions and how to access the key. It was very useful to have the key in the key box, since I arrived later than initially planned and this system allowed for felxibility.

The apartment was very beautiful and spacious. Kitchen was fully equipped. Before booking the apartment I went through the reviews and found a review from a guest saying the grocery stores were far away, that is a misleading information. In reality, the apartment was in a great location, there were lots of small stores within 2 minutes of walk. The hens didn’t not bother us while sleeping at all, you can definitely hear them in the living room, but not in the bedroom. You have to pay for AC, but wasn’t necessary in our case since the fan was strong enough even for a july heat.

Location was excellent for hiking and bus transportation. The small grocery store was well stocked but we always walked into Victoria to shop at Greens. The kitchen was well equipped and the management was responsive when a plumbing issue arose and a replacement kettle was necessary. Enjoyed having a washing machine and laundry detergent was provided. We felt like we were in a rural environment with the crowing roosters, honking geese, screeching peacocks and the amazing wagtails that chirp at twilight like an army of cicadas.

The house is just beautiful. Literally 30seconds from the bay, bar and restaurants. There's a free parking near the bay. Highly recommend!
