Lovely on-site restaurant - good budget spot - great location for ruins the next morning
This is the hotel recommended by Lonely Planet, although the name in the book is slightly different (Hotel Maya) and think link in the ebook doesn't work.
That being said, some of the points there are valid: this is an unbeatable value, very clean hotel, with nice sculpted doors, included breakfast, air conditioning, walking distance to the Coba ruins.
Oh, there is a pool as well, however we did not feel like using it with our kids. We arrived relatively late, tired and the pool wasn't that inviting.
Middle of town the family who run it are absolutely lovely. Food is superb, what ever you choose.
The local Cenotes are amazing.

A real gem in a great location. Ideal for visiting the ruins at Coba and for spending time by the lakes. Pool perfect for cooling off.
