Hotel Real Del Monte, Минерал дель Монтэ, Мексика

We loved the friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming staff. It's an old historic building with charm and character. The beds and bathrooms are comfortable, the rooms are spacious. The coffee in the lobby is ready at 7:30 am. It's a little tricky to drive to it. Very hilly and narrow roads. Be prepared for steps on inclines. There are roosters very near that start to crow at about 4 am.

The property has beautiful classic architecture and a nice courtyard to enjoy the sun. The King room was large and had closets and amenities that made us very comfortable. They even had a heater in the room! The staff was friendly and spoke English. We were told we could pay when we arrived instead of having to find a bank to pre-pay. The hotel is located in the center of town so it is an easy walk to everything. We loved the view of the city from our room. I have no reservations recommending this hotel in every aspect!
