The property was such good value for money, considering how expensive other options in Tulum can be. To be fair it was a good 20 min walk to the main highstreet, but there was also plenty around locally, an oxxo convenience store, bars and restaurants, and the walk into Tulum centre was lovely anyway. We hired a scooter from the second day onwards from a place just down the road, and that was good fun and a great way to get around Tulum. The beach is a long way away from the town so having your own transport is quite important anyway. The property was very clean, seemed almost brand new. The kitchen was well equipped, with a coffee percolator and a blender, which we made delicious margaritas in. The place had a pool and a pool bbq area, honestly it was all very nice. The host was a delight and there were towels and soaps and shampoo for our use.
