Great value with super friendly and helpful staff. Location is nice and pretty quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
LOVED the free breakfast in the mornings. The staff were super friendly and the having breakfast in the courtyard every morning was a great way to start the day and get to know new people. Would highly recommend Elbrus Home!
Over the two months we stayed in Nepal, we always made sure to book ahead to get into Elbrus Home. The staff were always super kind and helpful with organizing taxis and buses for trekking and general sightseeing. They let you store your belongings for free which is perfect for treks. The breakfast is super yummy and SO fast. The location is ideal since it’s a tiny bit away from the chaos of Thamel but still so close (5 min walk). There is a yummy momo place down the road (RK Momo). The rooms were always great with exceptionally comfortable beds and nice heavy duvets.
Stayed there twice and will probably be back for the 3rd. The owner is such a nice man, well all employees are actually. The dorm is spacious with a cute balcony. It's clean enough. The terrace and the garden are great to chill and meet people. Breakfast is more than enough with eggs, ghee, jam, bread, banana, coffee or tea and juice
This was my second stay at Elbrus Home, and I loved both visits! The owner is amazing and kind, always available to help out with a smile. The facilities are great, the house has a nice atmosphere and full of other travelers/backpackers, and it is exceptional value for the money. Location is ideal, walkable to the main tourist area and many other sights. I am sure I will be back again on my next visit to Nepal :)
