Restaurant staff was amazing, very welcoming and accommodating. Also, the canned candy is very good! Also, evening front desk gentleman was extremely helpful.

Room was nice and bed comfortable. Bathroom was a good size and had a jetted tub. The location was great for walking Jordaan neighborhood, the canals, catching boat tours, and a very short distance to the Anne Frank House. And a few steets and alleys to tram connection for most everywhere else around the city, including walking distance, or 2 short stops, by tram to Amsterdam Central train station for easy day trip to other parts of The Netherlands. There were steps up into the hotel and a few to get up to the small elevator, but the elevator was a nice option which we sometimes used. Amsterdam's narrow buildings can be a steep stair climb. Staff was always pleasant, helpful and easy to find on main level, at least in the main house where our room was located. Also, the secluded garden in the back between the back of building on the next street over, was a pleasant place to sit and relax as was the common parlor/breakfast/bar area.

This is such a lovely hotel and a wonderful location. The furnishings, beds and linens were very nice. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the experience is much more comfortable than stuffy!

Well appointed hotel, we had a large room with an extra large bathroom. Plenty of storage for a long stay.

The staff were excellent. The comfort of the beds made for a great sleep. The history and gorgeousness of the hotel. Perfect location.
