The view was mind blowing. Our stay was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities, and basic condiments for cooking. Everything was as expected and the host was very kind and generous.
The owner was gracious and shared good ideas for our travels going north. She helped us carry our bags upstairs. The apartment was spacious and the clothes washer came in handy.
We were made to feel right at home. Fabulous to be able to do some washing.
A lovely spot to stay
Fantastic location just 700m from the ferry/ferjekai in Stranda. Lovely garden and house with lots of flowers and cozy places to sit and relax. The host Randi is a very friendly and down to earth person. There is enough space to park your car. I got the entire upper floor as a solo traveller so plenty of room. The oven/ electric stove took a bit of figuring out in terms of how to temper the heat but it worked out fine in the end. I loved the cracking noises of the floorboards , it gives you a really authentic feeling. The river stream outside gives a calming effect that makes you sleep fast.
Comfortable apartment with a welcoming & friendly host who lives downstairs. The house itself has a nice history presented by the owner and due to its age, it radiates a certain charme. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the living room beautiful. A quiet and peaceful place with a superb location. A ferry harbour only a few minutes away by car. As well a supermarket and restaurants.
