We had two nights stay during our family visit to Nordkapp. Yes, looking ordinary, hotel is simple and ascetic. But taking into consideration how remote it is, I value that it had all necessary facilities and equipment. Also it was warm enough. Yes, bathroom could be better maybe, but on other hand it had surpsisingly good restaurant as per location. With Wonderfull king crab dishes! No challenges with car parking. Location at my opinion was good - approx. 1.5 hour drive to Nordkapp. And of course, hotel was very cheap in compare with other alternatives in that region.
Very basic, but for a short stay it is good enough. Breakfast was tasty. The bed is huge and comfy.
This place is in a small fisherman's village just a few kilometers from the main road to Nordkapp.
In other words very close yet far enough to not be bothered by road traffic noise or anything else.
The historic wooden building gives you the vibe of what it felt like in the past and is a great added value.
On top of this, you get large room with comfortable bed and private shower.
All in all, this is a little gem I discovered on my way and if I were in this region again, I would definitely come back
It was really cosy and warm.
The place was a hidden place so that I could see the Northen light vicid and clear.
Local place (not a touristic place)
The host Marina was so hard working, making guests happy, it outweighs negative sides.
Breakfast (while extra) was very good.
