Property is a mix of tradition & modernity and a pleasant deviation from the normal.
Staff were modest & humble. The owner Hamza was very friendly and explained the history of the old house on which the property was built. Overall a very good experience.
As it was low season we got a room upgrade to the double room instead of the twin room which was highly appreciated. Very nice room and perfect location from where you can oversee old Al Hamra. Nice rooftop terrasse to watch sunset/sunrise. Jebel Shams is just 1h 10 mins from here so can easily be done as a day trip.
Owner was very kind and showed us the entire property.
Around the house you can find some really cute goats.
This is a really nice family run hotel. We loved our stay here. It’s very well located to visit many beautiful places & there is a fantastic view all around from the roof top terraces. Our room was clean & comfortable & everything worked well. The staff are helpful & friendly & we really enjoyed the Omani breakfasts. The highlight was meeting the family who were so kind & hospitable. I can highly recommend staying here & will come back on our next visit. Thank you.
