Koofan heritage house is amazing! It was built in 1880 and it retains its traditional character. It is built of thick stone and decorated in traditional furniture. It has modern conveniences such as air conditioning and fully functioning plumbing but still retains an old feel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However, if you are looking for luxury like a Hilton please don’t come here. It is for someone who wants a taste of the past. You eat a traditional breakfast in the morning across from the old fort and really get to know the employees. You get to meet the owner and feel like you are staying as a guest at his house.

The owners are very friendly and they care a lot about their guests, sharing stories, and making sure they make the most of their trip. Rooms are very unique and comfortable.

This place is just fantastic. History, tradition, design, atmosphere, hospitality... And the knowledgeable team, who go out of their way to accommodate to your needs and make sure you have a fantastic stay. I wish I could give them 12 out of 10. It's not just a place to stay. It's an entire experience. I also highly recommend joining a tour with their team, as their offerings are very flexible, interesting and reasonably priced.

This is a very unique location with a lot of charm and very nice amenities. The breakfast included in the stay was great. It's very well located for exploring both Taqah and surrounding regions.
