We loved the location and the property. It was so beautiful, and tucked away in this small town in the mountains. There were tons of birds around, and the hiking and birdwatching tours were amazing! The staff were also pretty helpful, though could be hard to find at some times because we were there during a slow time.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views and surrounding areas next to the Caldera river.

The location is amazing, a stunningly beautiful village in the mountains, close to the forest and great hiking trails. The staff were super friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The food was fantastic too... every day there was fresh fruit for breakfast and a salad bar stocked mainly with produce from the hotel's garden. All the food was freshly prepared, and delicious. At the weekend there was a buffet breakfast and during the week it was a la carte. We especially liked the pancakes for breakfast, the soups, home made bread, pizzas and pastas, and the wine selection. Our room was very comfortable, and there were seats on the balcony looking out past the hummingbird feeders (with plentiful birds at all times) to the garden. All in all it was a super relaxing stay, in a beautiful location surrounded by friendly staff and great food.
