our host Wilber was the best, very kind and willing to make our stay the as enjoyable as possible. personally made us breakfast in the morning to our convenience and saw to it we had everything we needed. the hotel is a short walk to the surrounding markets and the main square. Wilber was there for every question and honestly the best host we have Probably ever had. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, heaters and kettle in the rooms.

We can't say much because unfortunately we were sick and we had to go to a clinic for the 3 nights that we have booked here. The owner cslled the clinic and a doctor came to the hotel and decided to take us with him to the hospital.

It's run by a small team, so you will feel right at home. Location felt safe even at night. The breakfast is cooked to order by a housekeeper, who is the nicest lady. They were also pretty accommodating of our requests, arranging taxi rides from Poroy and the airport. We ended up extending our stay by another 2 nights just so we could come back to the same place after Machu Picchu. We left most of our belongings in the room + room safe while we were in Aguas Calientes, and had no issues.
