I love the location of the hotel: central and easily accessible to everything.

We had a lovely time staying at Jose Antonio Cusco, staff is really friendly and accomodating.

The staff were exceptional in helping us with altitude sickness. They provided free oxygen treatment for 5 minutes whenever we needed it. When it was no longer effective, they arranged for an on-site physician visit. She was crucial in resolving the altitude sickness thru 6 hours of oxygen therapy (she offered meds and diagnostic testing also, but we declined). Having a good restaurant on site was convenient as we didn't have to walk anywhere to find something good to eat. Proximity to Wanchaq Station was also convenient, although altitude sickness prevented us from traveling to Machu Picchu.

The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was right across the street from an excellent restaurant where I got a full meal along with a Pisco Sour for about US$ 14. Easy walking distance to the Wanchaq train station which, from January to May, is the departure point for the Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu.

Service has been amazing. Having someone on staff that speaks English was a bonus. We had to switch rooms for day 2 and the process was seamless.
