Actually, it was my first experience with hostels. I had a belief that I would not be able to fall asleep with many people around, etc. But the Warsaw Downtown Hostel turned out to be just perfect for my 2 days stay. Room: it was 4-people sharred room with clean bunk beds and a common bathroom inside (!). There was also a small locker for each person Cleanness: Perfect; did not notice any dirt anywhere Personnel: I was met by Katia (sorry if Im misspelling), who gave a map with full instruction about Warsaw in general and the hostel in particular; she was nice and excited about the common activity they were doing with guests in common room. On the next day I met Emma, who transformed my experience from good into excellent! We had a fondue in common room with many other guests around the world; then, she explained everything about the night life in Poland including what to keep an eye on. Thank you! Location: it is in 10 min walking distance from Palace of Culture and Science, which was convenient since the transfer from airport stopped right there. Old town is within 20 min walking distance, but honestly the Hostel's location is perfect to have a quiet sleep at night, and it is right in the middle between old town and Lasenski park Price: my student wallet was fully satisfied! The rooms are cheap enough. Moreover, they have 6 pln bathroom set + 5 pln toothpaste and brush + 5 pln towel rent. Hairdryer and iron are free to use; wifi is fine. The beauty is the shared space in the basement, of course. They have plenty of room to gather and some free activities every night. The noise upper bed was making when I move; its creak made me consider every movement during night in order not to wake up others.

Great atmosphere.Friendly staff. Yet every day in the hostel organize various events for hostel guests, unusual. Awesome Breakfast-great variety.I'm happy!
