The location was great,close to everything. Very comfortable.

Beautiful house with lovely character and furnished with eye for detail. Perfectly located, just minutes walk from the historic centre of the town, which has lots of lovely restaurants, shops and cultural interests. Parking was easy, just up the street with a parking card provided by our host upon arrival. Super easy check in with a door code. Guimaraes is a perfect location to do day trips to Porto, Braga and the Geres National Park. We loved our stay at Casa Santa Luzia, where we stayed for a week with our three teenage daugthers.

Very comfortable - felt at home straightaway. Kitchen fully equipped and so much space for my teenage boys. Loved the architecture and history. The trip to Penha in the cable car was great with massive boulders to explore. Walk down good too.

The house is situated in a perfect location to discover this gem of a city. The house had everything we needed and was homey and comfortable. The host was very communicative and lovely.

We had seven wonderful nights in the house. The house if full of character which we loved and has been update for modern comfortable living. It was a home from home, very comfortable and has everything you need. The location is excellent too, it is very close to everything from supermarkets, cafes and restaurants and sites of interest. It’s roughly a 15 minute walk to the train station with the bus station being closer. Ivone is a wonderful host and was in regular contact with us. We will definitely be back to the this wonderful town, people and sites of interest.
