We were a group of 3. We wanted to have separate sleeping arrangements so this house was perfect. I was afraid that the 2 front bedrooms would be noisy but the traffic stops 10:30-11:00 and it becomes very quiet. You have everything you need there. There is a lovely covered porch at the back but unfortunately it was a bit too cold to take advantage of it. The location is great, away from the noisy student area and you can reach the sites in 15 minutes. Parking is easy, just in front of the house. We parked our car and left it in the same spot for 2 days. There is an Aldi right across the street so it’s very convenient. Wifi is good too.. It’s very easy to communicate with the owner Isabel.

Our train was late by over an hour and our host was still gracious and so sweet when we checked in. The welcome basket with bread, cheese and wine was perfect since we got in so late. It's across the river from the university and city center but it's a lovely stroll along the river and across bridge to largo de portagem. A very nice grocery across the street and restaurants within walking distance. Loved everything about it.

The owner is amazing. Met us very late at night to show us all the facilities. Welcomed us with wine and cheese.
