The location was fantastic! It was centrally located & easily accessible to services, markets & cafes. The owner responded promptly to all inquiries. The apartment was small but well appointed.

Location is great, very calm and peaceful at night

GREAT location - right in the middle of old town. Felt secure - building is locked at night and you need a key to get in. Also area felt safe. Comfortable and clean. Everything worked. Dishwasher, stovetop (no oven but there is a toaster oven) microwave were helpful. Large TV with many channels & HDMI input (but you need to watch TV in bed - no sofa). Good Wi-Fi. Grocery stores nearby. The SHB boutique hotel at the end of the street has a great view from the rooftop bar! I did not understand how the lockbox worked (you need to slide down little black cover to access code numbers), but called owner and she explained it. The entrance is on a pedestrian only street. There are taxes & Bolt at both ends of the street, but my airport taxi driver didn’t know that and dropped me 2 streets away.

Everything was amazing, great location, amazing facilities and superb host. The parking option available is superb considerating how close it is to the property and how hard it is to find a free parking space in the city center. The host is easy to contact. Also, check out time was good cause there was no need to rush.

Spacious, quiet and clean Studio right in the centre of Funchal. Thanks for the 1pm check out so we enjoyed lunch in our favourite Portuguese restaurant O Celeiro.
