Was exploring the east coast of the island and wanted to try a new area (stayed previously in Ponta Delgado for 3 nights). Debated between the coast and Furno. The tiny coastal town was very charming with only a few restaurant and bar options but for 2 nights we were very happy with the incredible ocean/marina views and access to different hiking trails and less tourists. I was very pleased that the hotel offered a hot jacuzzi- unlike other places we stayed in Portugal. The breakfast and room were great. Beautiful decor and parking was very easy out front.
