I really recommend this hotel. Staff is really kind and professional. The breakfast buffet is full of good food and there is also a little garden where you can have your breakfast. Near to metro and buses stations and it is 25 minutes from the downtown by walk. Rooms are cleaned and tidy.

All the staffs are very nice and kind. They stored our luggages until we came back late afternoon and helped us to take all the luggages downstairs.

Even though the room was rather small, and we had to adjust to the fact that the sink was not located in the bathroom, we adjusted just fine. The balcony with the view and generous breakfast compensated for everything. Besides, there's a small grocery shop nearby where you can get fruit, beer, or ice cream. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helped us to deal with the small problems we had during our stay. It would be great to come back at some point.

The staff: even though I got in after midnight, the night watchman let me in and showed me my room. The day staff were friendly and helpful and let me leave my luggage there all day after I checked out. The room: it was cozy but perfect for one person, with a bed, desk, and chair. Great soundproofing so I slept well. Sink in room was fine. But best, it had a little balcony with table and 2 chairs overlooking the stately, tree lined street, and I could have my breakfast there! The breakfast! A delicious variety from eggs and quiche to fruit and pastries, including Lisbon’s famous custard cup. The cook is superb. There is a peaceful shaded patio where most ate, but I preferred the view from my balcony. The location! A quiet neighborhood at the top of the avenue of independence, it’s a mile walk to the main sights, but the walk is on the center divider, which is a delightful park with cafes all along it!

The property was in a central location and we liked that there were two rooms for space and a bit of privacy.
