The location was great. It was a bit far from downtown Funchal but the main city bus stop was very close. The view was incredible. The hosts thought of a lot of things to make our stay great (e.g., a book to provide information, a wifi poster, etc.) In fact, every time we needed something, it was there. They also met us at 2 a.m. (our flight came in at 1 a.m.) to give us the keys. All in all, really a nice stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone.
- prime location, just 2nd line ocean front, but still overlooking the ocean from the rooms and the terrace
- we also loved the cozy enterior and decoration, which made the apartment a real home, and not just an accomodation
- kitchen equipment with everything needed
- overall we would book again

Quiet location with great sea view especially with a terrace watching sunset. Well equipped and comfortable apartment. Convenient for buses and shopping, fabulous restaurant opposite. It was an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Host was very helpful in the run up to check in, making the experience a smooth one.
Authentic and spacious with a brilliant sea view from extensive balcony. Had all the mod cons as the kitchen was hi spec, not that we particularly used it, but the washing machine was very handy. Special mention to local staff who made our slightly complicated check in and late check out very easy with excellent communication.
