What a lovely place. The pictures speak for themselves. The apartment is clean and modern but still very traditional in this charming stone village.
There is a refreshing river beach just up the river walk.
The owner is very attentive and even left us a delicious tawny port. Close to so many points of interest.
The apartment is very modern and clean. Super comfortable and we spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the river. Did lots of walks and good restaurants nearby. The apartment is very well equipped and the hosts very responsive. If stairs are an issue, there is an elevator.

The apartment is well furnished and having the balcony was wonderful. We enjoyed eating on the balcony enjoying the wonderful view. The bed is comfortable and the apartment was clean and smart. The town is pleasant and we were able to travel around to visit within an hour or less Ponte de Lima, Lindoso and the National Park and Valenca. This is an excellent base.
We were met by Jessica who was friendly and helpful When any problems arose they were dealt with speedily and cheerfully. The apartment was better equipped than any we have previously seen and the view from the balcony was spectacular.
