Wonderful place. Relaxing and enjoyable. Only wish we could have stayed longer

Everything! The place, the hosts, the dogs, the atmosphere was just what we needed after spending a week long trip in lisbon and wanting to relax. The town of Evora is just a 10 minute drive/Uber if you want to go spend time in the city and eat or walk around. Highly recommended place if you like dogs, want to relax on a huge farm with gardens and land.

Exceeded our expectations! Exceptional hosts. Place was so unique with gardens and house but mostly the animals stole my heart! I would recommend this stay!

The property was beautiful and well kept around the main house. We stayed in one of the small casitas on the property with a kitchenette. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils, plates, etc. Unfortunately, it had rained for days and it was extremely wet and we had a difficult time navigating around all the large puddles of water. This was not the fault of our hosts but our bad luck with weather. Going to Quinta do Cano was a unique, fun experience which would have been better if we could have explored the property but it was not possible with all the rain. William and Monique were very welcoming and great hosts.

* Very kind, helpful hosts/proprietors, who are available to let you in at the gate when you first arrive and call them. They also explain "rules" of the property clearly and show you to your room, and check if you are interested in arranging a breakfast / other meal for an additional fee. * Beautiful property exactly as described (there are plenty of animals around the property) * A small part of the house is available at night-time, only for access to some paid food+drink the hosts make available (wine, beer, some food), as well as some free food items (cake, water, possibly coffee, I believe) * I had a car and parking was very easy as well. In my case, I was able to park right in front of my building.
