It was a gorgeous location with an amazing view down the Douro River in a building that makes you feel like you walked into a fairytale. The room was just like the pictures, the breakfast room was stunning and the food was great, they even provided us with gluten free options. We did the wine tasting and and had a fabulous conversation with Phillipe the owner and met another couple that was staying there. We sat outside at a cute little Terrace area for the wine. The infinity pool was elegant but a little chilly in October. It's much bigger than expected.

The Quinta was located high in the Douro Valley at the end of a well-marked winding road and is nicely laid out with the rooms overlooking the Douro Valley with the River below. The staff was excellent and tended to all our needs. We had a wine tasting in the patio and the host was very helpful in suggesting and reserving other Quintas for the next day. The property is beautiful, and we took advantage of the infinity pool also overlooking the valley.
