The retreat is brand new and the property very well constructed. All finishes are of superb quality with every detail carefully thought out by the owners. If you want serenity, this is your spot. The pagoda is a special place to unwind. Staff is lovely and friendly. I would stay again.
We loved our stay. We travelled to Marugo out of season and realised the owner had opened the property just for us. We really valued the warmth and kindness from the owner and the laid back feel of the Quinta. The freshly made breakfast was great and all homemade. The location is remote but this is what you want from a country retreat! You want silence. We also loved meeting all the animals which are all very lovely and friendly. Thank you.

Lovely place in the middle of Portugal. The perfect escape form the city. Clean and comfortable rooms, natural pool and terrace, beautiful inside space in the common house. Highly recommend for a little getaway in tranquility!
Amazing place to relax with lovely hosts, homegrown deliciously cooked food, wonderful massage - I highly recommend it
