The location is amazing, the swimming pool is nice, the room is clean

The host of the place is exceptionally good in communication; I've just finished booking, when my phone rang and got connected with him. He gave great advices on what to see, where to go -according to my preferences. The house is build on a wonderful spot; one can get one of the best view above the Iron Gate, on the island of Orsova; all this can be done even from a pool. Just to mention a tiny detail also; binoculars. Going up to the caffee-area, which is the highest point in the facility, you can find a binocular for looking around. Small detail, but it tells a lot. Definitely suggesting Casa Clau if you want the best stay in Orsova.

Great facilities and host, excellent services and an amazing Danube view.

We loved this place. Right on a hill looking over the Danube River. There is a plunge pool and a BBQ area and tables to eat at and fridges. There is no kitchen as such but Pizzas can be delivered. I must also mention the owners of this place, he was so kind. He booked us a river trip and took us there, he also took us to the railway station ( we have no car) when we left. He also checked on us after we had got on the train to Bucharest to see if we were OK. I am very, very happy with this place.

Easy check in and check out. The room was spotless, as well as the bathroom. A big, comfortable bed. The view from the balcony was breathtaking.
