Stylish and clean room in a great location in the Djerdap National Park area.
It is a perfect choice for the area. 1) It is in the most beautiful part of Iron Gate, 2) The rooms are modern and very carefully designed and at the same time the hospitality is of old times and the food is simple, village style and very tasty 3)Rakia is amazing homemade, very good quality and the wine is excellent 4) Boban and Slavitza organised the things we wanted for us and it was very easy just to make a note that our languages are very close and I don't how it would be with guests that do not speak Slavic languages 5) there is a very nice garden just next to the water 6) the town is 4 min. by car, there is one restaurant within walking distance, a real Serbian place, good and cheap food+ alcohol
Private river shore beautiful Serbian traditional room. Very welcome family owners.
The setting is in a beautiful location and perfectly thought out. Something different from the others in the area. The owners are friendly, they make excellent Serbian coffee. They also offer drinks and food. There are many attractions within an hour's drive from the location.
If you want to have a basic Serbian
experience choose this location. The couple with dog (being with them on vacation) was very friendly. They provide everything you wish for and the lady spoke basic English.
We had a real Serbian breakfast and dinner. We stayed for 4 nights and every day it was different.
There are two small houses for the guests so it’s really quiet and not crowded at all. The house is comfortable and it even has airconditioning now. They installed it when we were there.
The most lovely part of the stay is the fact that the property has a large garden right in front of the Danube River. Lovely to relax in the shadow of a big tree and if you want to have a swim in the river it is possible from the platform.
We also went on a half day boat trip (2,5 hours) to the Iron Gate through the gorge. Beautiful trip arranged by the property.
We can recommend this stay if you like to have a quiet, relaxing time and get acquainted with the Serbian way of life.
