Ardbrin Lodge in Dunadry provides adults-only accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. This is a fantastic modern property. Very well furnished. Plenty of parking space. The couple who run it are absolutely lovely - so welcoming.
Squeaky clean, large room, large bathroom (although under a slanted roof and I am taller than most Irish, so had to watch my head when entering the bathroom). Breakfast good, the host will make you whatever egg-variety you want, there is tea, coffee, cereals, fruit salad, toast etc.
Windows in the bedroom could be opened, which is a big plus. 15 minute walk to a pub, yet in a quiet area.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, lovely owners.
Our stay at Ardbrin Lodge was excellent. The hosts are warm and welcoming people, and we enjoyed getting to know them. The lodge and grounds were well maintained, the room very comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. We were very sorry we had to leave!
I traveled from Virginia, USA for a wedding to attend outside of Belfast and the location was 2 kilometers away which made it very convenient for me. The accommodations were perfect, nice shower and bath area, bed was comfortable, breakfast was served on a one of a kind slab of Acacia tree that was interesting conversation with the owners. Eggs fixed any way you want them and omelettes to order also. Very hospitable and the home was spotless, clean! Parking was perfect and the front grounds were landscaped with beautiful flowers and the window boxes with flowers were very pretty. Ellie May's pub & restaurant only a wee shout down the road was great for dinner and a pint. If you go....be sure and get the Sticky Toffee pudding for desert!! Best i have ever had!
