Lovely room, amazing power shower, staff carried our bags to our room. Staff mostly great. Lovely location.
The staff at the hotel was top-notch. They were so helpful and accommodating. Andrew, the manager went out of his way to help us out. The food was incredible, and something I would expect to get at an upscale restaurant in a city. The hotel is full of character, as it is very old. The caring upkeep of this facility, however, is impressive.
We loved it! The first room we stayed in was in the annex and was lovely, then on our return we stayed in a lovely room on the 3rd floor. Lots of steps, but worth the climb. The breakfast was amazing and we also enjoyed getting a drink in the pub, and delicious dinner. The portions were so large they were enough for 2. The staff was friendly and helpful,even providing us a take away breakfast when we needed to leave early. Walking distance to the Aysgarth Falls and a quick drive to Castle Bolton and to Hawes to visit the creamery.
