This is a late Georgian/early Victorian range gentry houses put together to form a hotel. It is in sharp contrast to the air conditioned (i.e. freezing cold) filing cabinets that is the model for most of the hotels in Liverpool 1. The bonus is you can open the window and get fresh air, there is a garden (which would benefit from real grass rather than artificial) to escape into for more fresh air, a pleasant bar/dining room, well appointed rooms with period style furniture that matches the decor, and most importantly friendly helpful staff (the receptionist).

Very welcoming and comfortable, we walked to Anfield from here and it was a good walk approx 35 minutes. We would definitely come back again

This hotel was quaint and charming, with easy access to public transport into the city center

Staff are very friendly even more so as we arrived late due to train cancellations. Rooms are quiet and clean. Both my Daughter and I liked the selection of breakfast but neither of us are big fry up people. We were also put on the ground floor due to having a leg injury at the time so no stairs for me to climb. Liked that it had a little game room if you didn’t want to sit in your own room.
