Great out of the way location, local pub and meeting house, this gem is tucked right outside Penrith. We were very late arriving and they were kind enough to make us sandwiches even though the kitchen was closed. So fun to meet some of the locals and sample some local beer.
A warm welcome, every day it felt like coming home. Nothing was a problem. The food is outstanding. Jacqui and Steve were really friendly as was daughter Amy.
The owners and staff are second to none. The room was lovely and the food delicious. The beer prices were cheaper than home perfect for us.
Our host made us feel welcome. Our room was warm and cosy. The food freshly prepared and delicious. Surrounding countryside stunning and easy access to Lakes.
Breakfast was outstanding! Loved the cozy feel and it was a one stop shop with pub, restaurant and accommodation all in one! Excellent!!!
