Traditional Scottish Breakfast - Good selection - Staff could have been more helpful to my friend. It is tough when you have to be the breakfast that follows a week at the Old Course Hotel.
The room was exceptional. Spec is of a top level hotel and you get a little garden area as well. So well done
Lodges were a perfect setup for a golf junket to the west coast of Scotland. Convenient to major links courses and the accommodations were very nice. Bonuses included Sky Golf channel on the TV in the room (actuality a rarity in Scotland apparently due to Sky’s exorbitant fees for service into individual rooms) and access to Dundonald Links practice facilities anytime. Service was excellent. We were greeted at check in by David, who treated us like VIPs.
Great concept. Individual villas. back right onto practice facilities. Discounted golf if staying on premises. Nearest town, Irvine, is about a 7-8 minute drive. Prestwick is 20 minutes. Great staff.
Facilities all relatively new and in excellent condition.
