One of the quirkiests, most unique, and surprising hotels we've stayed in. From the slanted hallways and rooms to the haunted history, and pub right below us, the Golden Fleece was a fun and wonderful experience. We stayed in the Minster room which was spacious, plush, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated.
We had a fantastic stay in the hotel room above the pub. The room was clean, comfortable and full of character. Exactly what you’d hope for in a place with such charm. The pub downstairs added a warm, lively atmosphere that made the whole experience feel authentic and welcoming.
Nice Pub with live music every night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Atmospheric but still fully kitted out room with everything you need. Very Impressed with the whole package.
This place is the best in York, and perhaps the best that I stayed at on my 9 day trip!
The vibe was great really gets into the spirit of historic York, staff was so helpful , keys worked , it was wonderful not even loud from the fun pub below . It was awesome
