My husband and I really enjoyed our recent stay at Handywater Cottages. The owners Natalie and Ray are superb hosts who have invested in creating four self contained ensuite rooms in the grounds of their traditional period home. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a high quality mattress, quality bedding and a modern shower room. The communal utility/kitchen area benefits from a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and eating area which would be useful for longer stays. Our room benefitted from its own patio but there are other seating areas in the garden. Parking is free, spacious and secure behind locked gates. Breakfast was excellent and is served in an atmospheric dining room in the main house. Highly recommended

Lovely location. The room was extremely comfortable with a nice garden aspect and patio area. Breakfast very good. There's a communal kitchen area with fridge which is a nice touch. Nothing to dislike. There's obviously a lot of pride taken in its presentation and upkeep. A very relaxing place to be.

Everything was exceptional. So warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. My husband, daughter, and myself were made to feel like family. The location is perfect.

We visited the UK for the first time to attend my graduation at Henley Business School. In the days leading up to my trip, Natalie promptly replied to my emails and helped plan the itinerary. Natalie and Rob were exceptional hosts, providing a delightful English breakfast, immaculate rooms, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend their place for anyone seeking the United Kingdom countryside experience.
