Hayward's at the Grasmere is a very friendly family-run property, with well-equipped bedrooms, with one having a four-poster bed. There is a comfortable lounge and cozy bar. We are a totally nonsmoking establishment.

The food and attention by the staff.
The room was clean and suitable .
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, always helpful and willing to try and meet our requests. The breakfast choices included with our room price was excellent and varied. The bed was comfortable.
the room was a great room with a bath and shower, lots of storage bedside draws a big set of draws and a hanging rail for clothes with storage at the bottom where the big suitcase just fit perfectly. there is all though a door the takes you to the outside private back part with benches.
Fantastic location, lovely room on the ground floor. Staff were excellent and breakfast was delicious.
It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
