the location was fab.STAFF were very helpful and friendly. room very clean only thing the decor and bathroom very dated. could do with a makeover. but the main part of the hotel was excellent.
Great view, best location, and lots of activities put on at the hotel. Staff were extremely nice.

Apart from the superb location, what really made this hotel outstanding was the staff. They were genuinely welcoming and friendly, willing to happily give advice on the town. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff were happy to help out. The hotel has beautiful period features and was spotlessly clean but it's greatest asset is it's staff.
Exceptionally friendly staff, and an excellent service at breakfast despite the breakfast room being at full capacity - I was served very quickly. Bravo to the staff.
