Location was excellent, the cottage was very well equipped, cosy & comfortable
It was clean tidy and warm. Perfect central location. Information provide about local restaurants n bars was a fabulous addition.
We stayed four nights at Last Yan cottage. This is our third time in Ambleside (our favourite town in England) and we usually stay elsewhere. However this was a last-minute trip and Last Yan was the only place available. We are so glad it was available - it exceeded expectations. Check in instructions were very clear. The location is superb - very centre of Ambleside but on a quiet street away from the bustle. Three minutes' walk to the bus station! The cottage is all on one level and much roomier than we expected. Living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are all large. Kitchen has everything you need for a short stay and to prepare meals. Plenty of hot water for showers and there is a bath too. This really is a very cosy, relaxing and peaceful place to stay.
Location was perfect, rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
We had a lovely stay at Last Yan. Very comfortable, clean, central, a great location and base to visit the Lake District. Highly recommended
