Everything was O.K. there : a roof, beds to sleep, showers ... What else one needs ?

The owner Jeff is awesome. He is so kind and helpful. We stayed in the Women’s room as a family, beds comfortable. It was a neat experience.

What an amazing place! The historic pub downstairs was definitely a good time, and both the staff here and the local residents I met were great people! The hostel facilities are topnotch. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, and secure. The landlord has obviously gone out of his way to make this place somewhere you can feel at home while you travel. I had two excellent nights of sleep in a very comfortable bed and much appreciated hot showers in a clean, well-appointed bathroom. The location is tough to beat: within walking distance of the train station and everything you'll want to see in Dover. It's in a safe neighborhood and conveniently across the street from a police station. There are multiple grocery stores practically around the corner. There's an available car park, but I didn't use it as I'm backpacking, but other visitors I spoke with had no problems with it. I highly recommend this place and I'll stay again if I'm in the area.

The location is excellent, close to the cliffs, castle, and a short walk to grab a bite. Jeff was very friendly, and I enjoyed the great authentic pub below. Nothing fancy, but clean with a comfortable bed and fast WiFi.
